Montana classic wines are considered the benchmark of New Zealand varietal winemaking and have an international reputation for quality and consistency. The wines are crafted in a style that exemplifies the unique character and flavour of the region.

This aromatic South Island Riesling is produced in a spicy, citrus style that epitomises the character and flavours of the renowned, cool-climate regions of New Zealand.

It is straw coloured in the glass with green highlights. A fresh floral aroma with hints of nectarine, citrus and lime zest abounds. The palate shows has an intense floral and citrus approach, filled out with peach and apricot flavours. The palate has great weight and length. A trace of natural sweetness is balanced by a clean, zesty acid finish.

Asian chicken or pork, especially sweet and sour dishes, trout or other oily fish with lemon or parsley butter, ham or pork with a honey glaze. Tangy cheese such as Emmental works well to. Cellar for up to 10 years to develop a rich honey-like texture and toasty complexity.
