Situated on red metal soils in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, Abbey Cellars is a boutique 'single estate' producer owned and operated by the Haworth family. Abbey Cellars wines have an exclusive focus on producing smaller volumes of hand-picked ultra premium quality wine.

Spicy prune and Christmas pudding characters with hints of medicinal liquorice allsort type flavour combined with saucy fruit and solid tannins. Good length of flavour and satisfying.

Enjoy with barbecued butterflied leg of lamb studded with garlic.

Medium to full-bodied Hawke’s Bay red, French oak-matured, with blackcurrant, plum and slight chocolate flavours, an earthy streak and a smooth finish. Mellow style, ready for drinking now onwards.
